Laser safety is at the heart of everything we do at Applied SciTech, from servicing interlock systems to supplying laser safety eyewear. That’s why we’re sharing this video from Jamie King, one of the most experienced laser safety professionals in the country.
King served as laser safety officer for the National Ignition Facility (NIF), the world’s largest and highest-energy laser, and later for all of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His career spans the U.S. Navy’s nuclear program, radiation and laser safety at NASA Ames Research Center, and six years at Sandia National Laboratories.
